I think y’all gassed this up quite a bit. it’s just OK…. hoping some of the other short stories are worth the read. so far it’s nothing phenomenal

The random homophobia pissed me off but other than that, still good

I’m in a rut with this one. the author is indisputably talented, and she’s woven such a realistic world of academia that initially i was scared to re-enter it because it reminded me so much of a school i went to that traumatized me. but as I keep reading, the grip that she had on me initially is wearing thin. The initial plot “twist” was obvious, and I’m not sure what’s left to look forward to…
