I wish I could scream. This book is awful, terrible, wonderful, and beautiful all at the same time.

Chapter 5 is the best chapter of any book I have read in my entire life. The young man is exactly the sort of person I would want to know and admire.

I love this book. Marjorie wrote a whole chapter on a magnolia tree! I mean that is so amazing for one to write about in such detail and awe of the wonder of a tree. I feel like she and I could have hit it off talking about beauty of nature.

A friend lent this to me and told me it was based on the story of the man who founded Fleming Island. So far, it has been a very well written book. In fact, I love the way it is written

I dislike the foul language, but the story itself is incredibly interesting

Ah so at last the lovers have made themselves known to each other. Poor Monte Cristo, if only he did not have so much desire for revenge in his heart, or so much pride.

So much can happen in 30 pages! I can't believe he spent 14 years in jail. It's just awful! He missed out on so much, and it's really hard to blame him for wanting revenge on those who wronged him. I would much prefer the innocent man of 19, yet even so the story is it great interest.

He was so innocent before.... what's his plan now?

I like it so far. It's very similar to Madeline Martin's other book, The Booklovers Library, and written just as well

It's hard to believe I'm only 10% into this book. Any book lover, every book lover has to read this!

This is a great book so far. The women in each story are definitely heroines of WWII.
