I’m almost halfway through and I really don’t like the main character. Actually I loathe her. I like everyone else, especially the sister. The only reason I am continuing is because I need to know what happens to the dog.

Why am I torturing myself with this main character? If she doesn’t stop her whining soon, I don’t know if I will finish this! 😑

So chapter 1 had me laughing out loud like a maniac on my way home from work today. Hazel is a riot. I really needed this laugh after the day at work. I waited so long for this book from the library. So far - worth the wait!

I really am loving this book so far. Emma is my kind of girl! She got herself out of marrying a man she didn't like - but got herself into marrying a stranger! Ha! She is perfect though. I can't wait to see when Jed realizes it! I wish I could just read it all right now! Too bad work and living life has to get in the way!! :)

I have been waiting for so long to get this audiobook from the library. I should’ve just bought it off audible instead... I probably will end up buying it anyway!
It is so good. I always enjoy characters like Pandora. Strong, independent, free spirited women who don’t know how too fit in with other women. I can’t wait for more!!!

I’m listening to the audiobook of this one and omg... Brittany Pressley is spot on. Throughout the book, I thought of how she is making these characters sound like they are from my favorite movie, Steel Magnolias. Well, I’m about 1/4 the way (maybe more) and Carolyn Brown mentions Steel Magnolias! I love all of these characters so far. I also need to find more books narrated by Brittany Pressley!

I cannot get enough so far... I love the descriptions and the characters... Especially Sybil. I love the banter between her and Roderick. I am listening to the audio version, and Elizabeth Klett is an excellent narrator. I hope I can find more books that she's narrated. I also am definitely going to have to read more of Amanda DeWees.

So far pretty interesting. I find it a little hard to understand why, if Carol loved her home so much, would she be so quick to sell it over a couple scary bikers riding around her neighborhood... I suppose if you are all alone and had a child to protect, it isn't too unbelievable. I love that she kicked the first real estate agent to the curb. Ha ha. I like that I feel the characters so easily with this book.

I am super excited to start this book!!! I love Madeline Sheehan's abilities to suck me in to her craziness.

I am about halfway (listening to the audiobook) through and feeling irritated with the police "investigation" ugh. I can't wait to finish this. I really like Lisbeth and NEED to know who really did it.
