Kicking my feet, they are so cute! ☺️

I don’t want to get too excited too early, but I’m really enjoying this so far.

FMC is mid thirties, and has a child, and plenty of family trauma as baggage.

There’s an icky male character and a mysterious misfit, who I’m thinking is the MMC.

Add to that an interesting magic system… 👀

It may possibly be my favourite book in the series so far.

After somewhat of a slow start, I’m appreciating the depth of the relationship build and the unfolding of the plot against the gods. It all makes sense now.

Completing this only because I have the audio on Libby, but honestly this book isn’t for me.
I haven’t got to care for the characters and find their “attraction” one dimensional.

No. Just no.

Really struggling to like the connection between the MMC and FMC. It’s basically some kind of inexplicable lust and that’s about it

Still a bit meh.

Got a bit more energy back for this one, so I’m giving it another go. 🤞

Immediately into it. Characters that connect. 🌹 Yay.

I’m reading it. Kind of liking it. But not loving it.

How can a little romance series offer so much emotional character depth and connection? I’m not ready to say goodbye to this lot.

The duet narration is everything on this one. 💙
