This is great so far. Our FMC is equal measure tragically affected and sassy. The magical power is fresh and unique.

I do have a little reservation though…

I hope Xül is not the MMC endgame though… or perhaps we aren’t meant to connect with him yet..? He is giving arrogant & slightly creepy energy.
