There are characaters, FMC with healing abilities, but I have no clue what the plot is or what the stakes for the plot are.

Oh I like this. We are straight in the action. Princess gets traded for peace in an arranged deal with another kingdom. Can’t wait to see her come into her power.

Also there’s a Dark Commader - her betrothed’s brother - and a brooding Captain of the Guard… so we are set for a page turner!

Abby writes characters that jump of the page and this is another great example 🩶
