bro i’m so sick of writers getting past bad situations like being captured or near death by having the main character be saved by someone else last second. like it’s so infuriating, you’re the main character, do something cool and unpredictable

i think its so funny in YA standalones and duologies when its so obvious the author is trying to speed things up. Like tell me why the mc and love interest kissed for the first time, then the next chapter she got mad and they "broke up" when they weren't even together to begin with. (she was in the right)

i want to say its super good and im lowk into it, but my friend told me she thinks read it in 5th grade so like... its mid ig... :(
