I'm on the chapter on greater anis and I need to take a moment to let out my biology nerd energy- I thought animals only forgo their own reproduction to raise another individual's young when they are genetic relatives, ie because of kin selection. Or at least that's the impression I got from my undergrad. Now you're telling me that greater anis constantly raise young they're not related to??? Totally rad bro
