Enjoying this read so much! A nice palette cleanser after reading a longer book!

Tbh I miss Al and Harry! I felt captivated by them. I am loving the story—unfortunately Sadie is not really a favorite of mine. I feel like it would have been interesting to hear more about her husband (ex) and his background. Lastly. Why am I so interested in Marina!? She is a very multidimensional and personable character! Stephen King could craft together her life story in such a fun way.

Kinda miss Al’s character. And also I found myself drifting away from the story due to the longer development of “George”’s time in Jodie and the romance parts. Hoping there’s more focus on the plot and less romance in the pages to come.

I am only a few chapters in and I have to say this is probably the most wild and immersive reading experiences I have ever had. Al is such a fun co-character, too!

The story has developed significantly. I remain a big fan of Birdie throughout this wild stories’ ride. Very curious about why Meg’s adoptive family adopted her; in particular…was it for selfish purposes… or is there some connection between their time in NYC and any other character(s)!? I wish I could keep reading but it’s past 11:00 pm. Sigh.

The storyline definitely picked up a lot in the lead up to the middle. Interested in what Charlie’s life was like even before Meg. Also I am so inspired and proud of Birdie. I hope for more character development for Francis. Eager to hear more about how Meg connects with her family(ies).

Lots of build up to this portion of the book…curious about what Part 2 will bring… also interested in the connection between Charlie’s situation and Garnet/Garnet’s role.
