Well damn. This book is a lot more triggering than I expected it to be, but not in a bad way - more in the sense that I relate to so many of the struggles the author has been through so much and I feel like all my insecurities and struggles are being thrown to the surface at once. Part of me wishes that the writing style was better to bring me to tears and feel emotion more, but maybe that’d become unbearable.

Really interesting and relatable, love the style of narration

Insanely good so far.

Extremely dense book, but filled with knowledge. The book is on a legal subject but you don’t have to be a student of law to learn a lot from it. You do have to be patient though; which I’m not, so I skipped around a lot. Given the amount of information in the book I’m definitely going to need to reread it over and over again, right now my goal is to just understand the author’s overall point, details later.

Heartbreaking read. Reread some of the pages I read last time that explains the strategic thinking between 1880-1947 that Zionists used to prepare themselves for the “opportunity” to launch an invasion, following with immense detail about attack after attack that Zionist troops used against the Palestinian people. The author dispels common counterarguments. Insane parallels to what is happening this year in Gaza.

Such a great book. Describes the birth of Zionism and the progression of events that enabled the Nakba
