today they went to do the water drills with a submarine and holding their breath underwater. everyone in the group except for Beckett couldn't do it, then it was Leo's turn Leo felt like there was an electric pulse through his veins and he sped through the water like a jet, then when it came to holding his breath he was able to do 15 mins before he stopped showing off, Naomi then becomes suspicious of the rrb.

in the chapter about pigeons we learn about racing pigeons, we learn about how the pigeons at funerals and weddings are brought back to their loft. we then learn about racing pigeons and their history of delivering messages in war. the pigeons are timed to see how fast they went in a race the reason the pigeons return is because of the hens in the loft.
