Feeling like I need a break from romance / rom com for a book or two - any suggestions ??

I’ve stopped and started this book and finally got into it - I’m liking the storyline, but I just don’t feel Gus. His ‘evil’ mouth? So I’m keeping on going as I want to know where it ends up, but I’m having to reimagine Gus!

A little undecided at the moment… depends on how it goes from here as to which way I swing!

Unusual voice to this one but in a brilliant way. So unique and immersive in the main character- I find myself angry and frustrated when she is, surprised when she is. And the combo?! Chemistry expert and a tv chef - what?! Loving it

Took a couple of chapters to get into, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Characters are drawing me in especially the location on Skye

I feel rather conflicted at this point! As a huge Sarah Morgan fan I feel rather disloyal but I’m just not that convinced by this storyline yet. It’s the same format as The Summer Swap (three different female leads, a chapter at a time from each perspective) but it’s only now, this far in that anything’s actually happened…I’ll persist and hope I’m pleasantly surprised before the end.

I am LOVING this book - it’s gorgeously written and cost, like a mug of hot chocolate I just want to get back to. This is the first time I’ve read a booo by this author and I am pretty smitten!!!
