Okay, this is super interesting and straightforward. Favorite chapter so far is the Tripartite Mind!!! loved it.

PLUSSSS what the hell is sheriff Boyd doing. how come Tess is doing all this work? not only Gertie found the body, she was smart enough to run away. wouldn't you expect two adults to literally be cautious tho? especaillyyyyyy a sheriff. this man is literally useless in the book lmfaoaoao he's there to listen to peoples concerns and follow cold leads. everything else seems super good but boyd is a background character

Honestly, I really enjoy the book! There were only very minor cringey parts in this book. but the clue about the tiger falling was sooooo odd and out of place. genuinely. how did they deduce it to a tiger. it could literally be for anything or anyone (specifically for those who wasn't tall). when they said tiger it literally made me laugh cuz what?????? LOL

it’s cute, but it’s not the greatest. Everything , even the vibes of the town and towns people seems like a knock off from Gilmore girls. This book is definitely a cosy and easy read, but it just feels so obvious the way everything is laid out. I’m on chapter 10, and I’m at this point where I already know what kind of ending it will be lol.

This girl does so many random things without fear bro wtf😭 she seems to just do things without weighing the outcome which i guess is understandable for a child but then again isnt she supposed to be smart-er? Her curiosity is when her childlike decisions mostly come up — breaking things, stealing (bad kid lmao) and following a random 2 ft tall guy😭🤣

interesting been a while since i read this boom but this is definitely a challenge😭 The style its written and dictionary is sometimes so hard for me to decipher. Anyways about the book, theres really nothing to say about it. Nothing really stands out. Just a teenage girl doing teenage things🤣 its honestly more so the writing thats interesting me LOL

Ive always liked romantasy books because it shifts my perspective me to somewhere ethereal but this book magnifies all the sorrows, joys, anxiety, and every other emotion i feel while reading. This book made me realize how much i truly enjoy book settings with realism in it. Makes me enjoy being human.

Okay so I TOOK the longest break reading this book because it was just genuinely too cringey. So far from my last review and now, it hasn’t been too TOO bad. Atp, i would rather have fighting scenes all the time than all the romance cuz the romance straight up sucks😌 Anyways Im finishing this in less than a week just so i can mark it off. Im just gonna have to push through🙄

Oh man this thing is a slow burnn but i lowkey dig it. Im reading this on my ebook with 2 other books in the same pdf and honestly idek where exactly im at so i just estimated about 200 lmao. events are slowly unfolding and im on ch 7 still no hint of vampires being involved. honestly seems more like spiritual entitites… but thats what they want u to think wahaha. 3/5 so far

Just started reading this book because I have been reading so many bad romantasy books lately i just needed something different, something grounding.. Its starting off pretty well, how the writing is so different and new to me makes it even more interesting. The plot is quite a slow burn but the way its starting you can’t really tell its about vampires LOL. anyways im here for the ride !

Can I just say how much I love Carrion, he’s so funny and relaxed. He makes it so much more entertaining. also the spice scenes are def so very spicy!! just didnt like how the events lead up to that cuz it literally makes no sense :/ there were a lot of the same interactions between characters it was so obvious and repetitive. anyway i cant wait to finish this book because i refuse to DNF a book no matter what

I am FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE to try and finish this book😭 i feel like atp the author is trying so hard to create chemistry between them like dude the plot is between them is literally so bad. Like no actual intimate interaction between them its ridiculous omg this book is soooo long idk how much longer i can do this. Maybe i just need to read faster LMAO

There are some good and not so good parts from the last chapter i ended and where im at now. The banter between fisher/Saeris is so funny and not in a cute or best way, just straight up cringey SOMETIMES lmfao. I think the way their magic is also being explained seems so choppy. Idk its kinda weird. Im pushing through this book to the end hoping it gets better. rn, without finishing this book id rate it 2/5 :P

Let me remind you ik he cares deep down but literally he put saeris in so much pain in chapter 11 and didnt even let her know prior what he wanted to do like let the girl mentally prepare but no.. but in chapter 12 shes basically in love with him already like what the fuck is this book

What is up with these romantasy books where the girl falls in love because of absolutely no reason. Yeah he saved her life (cuz he had an ulterior motive) and truthful (period) with what she needs to know but other than that he has been a complete ass but Saeris just said “Fisher is the most beautiful of all”. Everything that made her like him were all physical traits🙄 This is so superficial and pathetic

Slacked off reading this book :( so glad i started again though! I only had time for two chapters today but omg chapter 9 is my favourite chapter so far. Honestly, its hilarious how kingfisher is kind of an ass because yk this guy actually cares deep down LOL and him being an ass isn't even that bad, what he says is the truth but he just speaks it so harshly lmao

so far, this is my take:
- the fmc sounding like every other fmc.. :/
- world building is literally going so well
- Madra got my attention so quick.. very curious of what's more to her.
