I planned on being a productive member of society today and instead I’ve read 229 pages 🫠

It took until about 35-40% of the way in for this to finally become interesting.. by the way that’s 200 pages in

too much world building for me, I’m also not a fan of the change in the authors writing style. I don’t mind the modernisms or that it’s not her usual fantasy either, it’s more that it feels like there’s a lot of unnecessary added words/sentences 🙃
