One of the most irritating, random books I've ever had the misfortune of starting. I'm trying to hang in there, but I don't know how much more I can take. By this point, we've switched worlds 4 times, changed time periods at least 10 times that, and there is *still* no clear direction.

7 pages in and still no idea what's happening. Something about breaking in some where and stealing something that may or may not exist. The writing style is weird and irritating. Really irritating, and the story jumps around in time. And it's only page 7.

Ouch. Arab politics in a nutshell.

Whoa, the twists and turns. Lots of technical stuff, but enough culture and action to keep me engaged.

Hackers and women and jinn, oh my! Starting a little slow, but the elements are coming together for a potentially awesome story.

Potent, eye-opening story that truly showcases how people can be thoroughly controlled and changed against their will and without anyone knowing....

Lots of super raw emotion here..... Difficult read, but captivating.

I love this book. The wit, sarcasm, humor and truly epic one-liners keep me laughing, even through the darker parts. There's a lot of depth and wisdom buried in the ancient characters, and they're exposing it, and themselves, more and more as the book goes on.

Truly epic. The Israelis trained dogs to detect the virus.....

Whoa, intense. I've already been sucked in with a kind of morbid fascination I rarely admit I have.

Whoa.... Coaches that blackmail students? The plot gets thicker and thicker.....

Very interesting turns. Several new (to me) characters have been introduced, and they're very vivid, rich and varied. Lots of action and hints of things to come, but no explanations thus far. I keep getting sucked in deeper and deeper....

Starving kid surrounded by monsters? Exotic dancer mother who still spanks her 14 year old? Weird telepathic abilities and uncles with a sense of humor? This one is starting off weird.
