Don’t see myself finishing this before it needs to be returned to the library, especially with the inability to check it right back out. It has to go back on the requested/waiting list. And there’s no telling how long that time frame is. On books this long, they need to allow a bit of extra time!! 1031 pages.I’ve already came across a lot that could’ve easily been cut to reduce the page count.

Unfortunately, due to a recent medical diagnosis, I’m not sure I’m going to keep up with my usual pace of reading.
I’m changing my annual reading goal now, so it doesn’t cause me to slip into a funk of feeing frustrated, or a sense of failure.

Oh how I’ve missed Veronica and Stoker!!

Having to put on hold. Library loan expired at 75%+ complete. Approximately 2 week hold before it makes it back to me.
Guess that’s what happens when you have surgery 3 days prior to finishing the book. Arghh!!!

Not even 10% in, and not so sure this is the book for me. Will try to give it a bit more and see if it does anything for me.

So behind in my reviews and ratings! Most are written, just not posted.
Guess I’m just going to have to put down the book/s, touch up the final editing, and get ‘em posted! 📝

OMG! Damn is all I can say. This isn’t due to release until September 9th, later this year, and I can see it shooting upwards.
Even though it’s tagged dark fantasy and there’s some pretty graphic content, the elements of writing that Kosoko Jackson employs to keep your mind on the bigger story nothing short of mind altering!
