It’s so frustrating to me how after all starling does she is still always the one to take the blame. When she saves so many yet everyone uses her as a scapegoat goat. I do enjoy this addition in the way that it makes it much more realistic and makes the story have much more depth than surface. The movie doesn’t touch on this aspect probably because they wanted to make her the hero when the villainize her here.

Chapter five was all about Crawford taking care of his sick wife. It was really sweet, he takes such good care of her and truly loves her. It’s heartwarming, I only wish to one day find someone who would do the same for me in that situation. It’s a shame that in the movie Crawford is portrayed differently and some think him to be attracted to Clarice. Idk, Clarice said in the book he was an old creep.

The t.rex scene was sick, and I liked the aviary scene as well! The book is so good and so detailed I love it!
