This book is VILE, I keep needing to take breaks. I have never encountered a horror book that disgusted and unsettled me to this level. I'm deeply uncomfortable and loving it, though I'll be very glad to finish it.

There is literally No. Way. There is no way this is the thing that we're going with.

The social anxiety of some of the situations in the book feels MUCH worse than the horror subplot.
