I am 60% into this book and all I can think is “ …get to the point.” 🙄

Why do I feel like a plot twist is coming….

This is kind of giving me the ick. I also need it to pick up the pace. Right now it’s the same fight over and over again. There are still a lot of unanswered questions. At this point, it’s just a lot of magical grooming and that is not my jam.

This is giving ZA vibes. Particularly an aspect that I’m not a fan of. We will see.

I like that her “pet name” is Serpent. I’ve read at least 4 books now that the FMC’s nickname was “bird” or “little bird.” It’s getting annoying.

This is one of those books that is so much better when you read the physical book versus listen to the audio. I am enjoying the story a lot more this time around and have made it further than I did with the audio.
