Ayana and Vuk are cute together, but it didn’t feel on theme with envy—it felt more like lust, similar to Xavier and Sloane, where the male lead fell headfirst. Love the diversity in the female lead, and the audiobook is to die for!! So far, I’m enjoying it and can’t wait for King of Gluttony and King of Lust.

Slow burn, but the character chemistry is honestly a bit disappointing. There is definitely tension, but I wanted more of their interaction. Wren is very likeable and adds a sense of mystery. However, I got bored halfway through because it was progressing so slowly that it felt like nothing was happening.
