I’m typically very pro stupid characters. But this is just legitimately the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. We cannot be so anti pain meds that we think amputation is the easier path forward.

This is just truly not how pain meds work and their is no world in which the pain of amputation is less of a problem than a little bit of pain medication? This would bother me even if I liked the book at this point, but obviously I’m finding this book very frustrating.

A really excellent set up!

Listening so no clue about the page number. But the first story absolutely kicked my ass. I cannot believe how incredible it was. I kinda feel like I need to lay down and think about it for half a hour before I can go on but I’m on a road trip and cannot do that.

I GUESS being a travel journalist maybe I buy that she wouldn’t immediately lawyer up. But just barely.

I’ve read so much romance since I read this for the first time like six years ago so I’m very excited to see how it hits me now. So far, I’m having a lot of fun again. I love the whimsy in Hibbert’s writing.

I keep getting so nervous I have to put the book down. Which only prolongs the nervousness.

I know I’m reading a romance novel and not a murder mystery but this house would be so good for a murder mystery. Which is just the Christie training everyone has gone through. But still!!

Starting out strong with a list of all the things Cooper is sad about, mostly Park not magically knowing he wants to live together, and then thinking “it seemed silly to be upset by such little things, not that he was upset” this poor idiot.

Well. I guess it isn’t surprising that I am currently crying.

Biggest idiot in the whole world. I am obsessed with this book.
