I had my first author event yesterday, and it was amazing! Thank you to all of those who came out and supported me.

I had a lot of questions about what I would recommend as the lowest age for Tarnished Relics. I conservatively say 18+ because while it is clean (no sex or swearing), there is some violence and mention of a brothel.

Afterwards, I asked one of my friends, who is a homeschooling mom, and she said 15+.

I am excited to announce that I am officially an award-winning author! Tarnished Relics received a bronze medal in the 2025 Global Book Awards for sword & sorcery.

I wasn't going to enter this book in any award competitions, but I am glad that I changed my mind. I am grateful for the validation. One more competition to go. I will find out in November what they think.
