So far my only real issue are the chapters in Varley's POV. Which is shocking cuz he's the vicious vampire and I was initially thrilled to get his POV on his murderous ways. But he's just mean and horny. BORE. At least they've been short chapters so far.

Ok this is hilarious. Deep sarcasm, shifty corporations, and hellish nightmare creatures doing business? Love it. Honestly, I'd work there too.

Oh yeah, digging the vibe here.

This book is for sure gonna be weird, but will it be in a good or bad way? We shall see.

The main dude is gonna drive me nuts I can already tell. Your stubbornness and refusal to listen is what put you in this predicament. You got almost your entire family wiped out.....and for what?

Keep meaning to start this one but get distracted with pesky work and house chores. I WILL START IT THIS WEEKEND FOR SURE.

Still unsure of this one but I'll wait for the resurrections and lesbian romance to get going, if that still doesn't move me then there's no hope for this book and I'll quit it.

Still have no guesses on who the killer is, the main suspects seem way too obvious. Also, my word is Fiona an awful woman. Also, it drives me nuts that frowning is how Sam shows he's happy, and smiling shows he's mad. As a deeply socially inept person, he would be my nightmare.

Ooooof, this one is tough to read. I may drop it not because of any issues with the plot, but holy hell do I want her husband dead. The abuse the mother and son are going through makes me sick to my stomach. I'll try and push through because I hope this POS husband gets it in the end. But this is not for the feint of heart or anyone with triggers/trauma surrounding abuse.

Very early in this one so too soon to say for sure, but I have a feeling I'll wind up quitting this one. Let's see when the story truly starts to pop off.

So far it's been just as cute as the first one! Love the small town vibes and how books are a huge part of her spellcraft.

This book is so far super fucking weird, but I dig it and it's very short so if I start to hate it, it won't be a loss to drop it. But please stay delightfully weird.

I was digging everything, but then they introduced the prince who I am assuming is the love interest, and he's immediately very sexual and cringe. I'd rather there not be any romance if this is the quality we're getting. In her first true conversation with him he just kept making jokes about making her wet. I wanted to step into the book and vomit directly on his dumbass.

I still think Casey is a giant moron with zero sense of danger. She left a loaded gun in her unlocked side table in the bedroom she let this stranger use in her home. At this point she deserves whatever shenanigans she finds herself in at the end. I find myself enjoying the teenagers POV more because while she's also not very bright, she's 13 so it's understandable.

This woman has ZERO sense of danger. I'm sorry, but if there's someone hiding in my shed with a knife and drenched in blood, they aint coming into my home, teen or not. TEENAGERS CAN AND DO KILL PEOPLE TOO. I'd do what I could to secure my ramshackle cabin, and wait until phone service returns and police can be notified. You don't know what you've let inside your isolated cabin in the woods.

Into it so far, we have a storm, we have isolation, we have two ladies seemingly in different kinds of peril. This author is hit or miss so hopefully this one stays a hit.

Cautiously optimistic about this one, but again, we'll have to see. Barely started.

So far so good. I like the trio of idiots stumbling around trying to make something of this "magic" shop while also quietly yearning for eachother lol. Classic youths, just tell eachother the truth yall are clearly in love.

Interesting so far, not much water magic has been done yet, but she's kind of struggling with it so far so hopefully shes mastered it by the end and we get some cool ocean witchcraft.

Of the three im currently reading, this is the weakest, but it's still a fun little romp in a murder swamp. They just gto stranded in the house, the group is split, perfect for murder. Can't say I care about anymore much so far so don't really care who the first to die is.

Welp, this one is definitely a letdown. I've just got the last few chapters to wrap up, the big evil has been dealt with, and what a drag that was. They spent 300 pages farting around the stupid town doing nothing, and wrap everything up in 5 minutes in the basement. I don't really care anymore and will speed read the closing chapters just to see if there's a last minute surprise.
