Welp, this one is definitely a letdown. I've just got the last few chapters to wrap up, the big evil has been dealt with, and what a drag that was. They spent 300 pages farting around the stupid town doing nothing, and wrap everything up in 5 minutes in the basement. I don't really care anymore and will speed read the closing chapters just to see if there's a last minute surprise.

I mean, I am liking it, it's just not her finest work. The story has been dragging the last few chapters and all three siblings and the daughter all kind of suck so it's hard to care about them lol. I'll stick with it because I've come too far and I have LOVED her previous books. But TBH, unless the ending blows it out of the park, my rating for this probably won't be too good.

Liking this one more and more, after a BUNCH of DNF cozy reads, I think this one will finally be the one that sticks and I can finish! They've found the body and I'm guessing the killer is one of her coworkers. I'm basing that on nothing but vibes though lol.

I'm not overly thrilled by the story yet, but I think I'll stick with it because the sisters are hilarious and I am enjoying the banter.

Liking it so far although all 3 siblings suck for different reasons. I'm betting the little brother has been dead this entire time and has always just been a ghost haunting them. We'll see if I am correct.

This is another one I'm thinking of quitting. It was described as an "edge of your seat, pule pounding thriller", where? Are the thrills in the room with us? Also there's lots of cat deaths, STOP HURTING KITTIES.

I keep forgetting what the actual crime is because it's just a family drama and babbling so far. Not a trace of horror to be found so far.
