Damn you Kristen Hannah. It’s midnight and I’m bawling my damn eyes out. This book is truly eye opening— we hear things like ‘her friend got shot xown’ and just think oh man, war. But the backstory and the horrors and bonds that people make… it’s almost as if the people that serve together become more like family than family ever was

Wow… Maggie is a psychopath. Why does he even put up with his daughter. Love can only go so far right?

Soemthing is sus. Maggie to my prediction is a little sketchy. What’s going on with the grooms mom? Is this some sort of fraud scheme? Or is it going to be bigger like them hacking tech stuff?

Kind of reminds me of my dad in a way. Fiancé is very sus. Daughter is very dismissive and makes me sad for the dad :/

What.. how? WHAT. The pig fetus, and is Laura loosing her mind?? From the cancer or is she batshit crazy?? How did the bad guy turn into the victim turn back into the bad guy? Emotional rollercoaster of 4.5+ hrs of reading. What is honest to god wrong with this woman?!

Only thing I’m finding is that the MMC and FMC argument and knife fighting is very redundant. Less same old flirting and more plot line please. Taking a break to read a brief palette cleanser to deal with the remainder of the book 🤦🏼‍♀️
