I doubt I’m going to ever finish this book.. it’s challenging me so I keep coming back to it.

I’m enjoying the way this story is unfolding. I like the fact that I can’t predict what is going to happen next. Also, it has very nuanced characters, I cannot decide how I feel about Serapio and the actions of his mother… but I’m still rooting for him to come out on top in the end.

This audiobook is amazing, I usually can’t get into them but I highly recommend it .the actors are soooo good.

This took an unexpected turn and I’m really enjoying it. I thought it was gonna be a classic whodunnit but it has a few unpredictable twists. Really easy to read, I’m breezing through it.

I’m enjoying this murder mystery! The unreliable narrator is keeping me on my toes. The chapters are short and sweet. Characters are believable and well written. I needed something like this to get me out of my reading slump. Easy read.

I enjoyed this one, unexpected endings are my favorite. But I did get a little emotional.

Slow burn, I’m forcing myself to finish. But I am intrigued and interested about how it’s going to end.

This is a slow enjoyable burn, I like the writing style, it’s vivid and exciting. I’m learning so much about India, and mangroves.

Edie is a heartbreakingly relatable character. I want to cry for her, but I don’t have the tears. She seems to have really blossomed into a woman at the end of the story. The ugly traumas and truths she had to process to get to the other side of adult/womanhood should have broken her spirit. But it did not, she was an interesting person to read about.

It’s getting to the climax of the story and my heart is breaking for the main character. I really need to start reading romance. 🤦🏾‍♀️

I started off feeling a bit lost but I persevered and things are starting to make sense. It’s dark, bloody, and a bit sad. I have to admit that it feels really scary at times, I’m not sure if I should root for the main character or not…

This is juicy, my family is from New Orleans and as a blank woman, I find it really interesting how Anne writes about the blank women in this book. My idea of what a true vampire represents is expanding. These pale creatures that have to kill in order to survive.
