The mad dune mage fight is coming up! Hopefully Carl Donut and Katia can get the box

I went and bought the whole series after finishing book 3 and I cannot wait to read them all

I’m loving the monsters so far, I was under the impression that this would be straight medieval horror but the fantasy elements are really adding to the story

Love the movie and was super excited to start the book!

I am so worried about what will happen to Donut when the sisters and the royal court meet up!

Part 1 finished,
Gus and Call got a real deal outfit together and are headed up to Montany to strike it rich. Seems like for now at least Lonesome Dove is in our rear view

I think Gus is my favorite character so far I see a bit of myself in him, and Jake too because he’ll who likes working.

Jake Spoon has just arrived and everyone seems excited, what will this entail hmmm

Just getting to meet the boys of the Hat Creek Cattle Company so far, as well as Lorena who i don’t know much about yet. I’m intrigued

Carl and Donut are getting some good upgrades and Mongo is starting to show out! I’m glad that Mordecai is going to be a permanent fixture as well and hope they can link up with the old folks home soon

Very fun to jump back into Carl and Princess Donut’s world, I’ve missed them!!

The Black House is on the horizon! Jack and the Thunder 5 are closing in and I cannot wait to see what this house has in store for them, knowing King I’m scared for Henry and have a feeling he still has quite a big role to play in this

The taking of Tyler Marshall was a great part 2 of the book it sunk the hooks deep and made me so excited to see what exactly Hollywood Jack is gonna do to save the boy!

I got so excited when Jack finally flipped, In just so hype for what’s to come and all the DT content will be so good!

WTF! I went into this thinking it would be a Wendigo situation and maybe it still is I’m not sure? But it’s fuckin creepy so far

The first 3 chapters did a lot of describing! I love getting engrossed into the world of the story but goddamn it was a bit of a slog, I do believe it was worth it in the end because I now see the town as Jack does. Very excited to see the part he plays in this story and how he will serve the beam.

What an interesting read so far, Milkman and the Dead family are ever fighting against each other and against their own selves. Ruth Foster is such a tragic character so far and Pilate is incredibly intriguing I need to see more of her!!

It’s okay so far, very derivative of every other rags to riches fantasy story with an unlikely hero from a mysterious background. Just a retread, it’s enjoyable enough to finish

Seems to be a pretty interesting magic system to start but I believe the twists of this story have been telegraphed quite clearly

Part 5 done! Finally finally!!!! Aliena won back the Shiring for Richard god it’s been forever, and William still lives and as the sheriff no less! I can’t wait for him to get his full come uppance and hopefully die by Aliena’s hand.

Jack is the son that Tom deserved! He has brought to life the dream that Tom yearned for everyday

Part 5 finished up, what a journey Jack and Aliena have been on so far! She traveled the world to find him and did!! I’m so very fearful for what William may do to them and Kingsbridge, I do think Jack has been great in his more prominent role and I look forward to seeing what he’s up ho every time he’s on the page

Poor poor Tom Builder, damn man I can’t believe William got him in the end. I don’t think Jack will take the monastic vows I think he will take up Tom’s hammer and become a master builder! I feel so bad for Aliena as well all the work she’s done just to be ruined by the freak who raped her it’s terrible!!!!! Kingsbridge will rebuild they must!

Part 2 finished! I’ve had more time to read lately and I’m hoping to knock this one out soon. Jack is in love! As we all knew he would be with Aliena and Ellen has come back to Tom, Philip has also bested the bishop and the Hamleigh’s yet again! Love the setting and most of the characters so far

I’m so glad Philip found Allie and helped her out he may be the only wholly good man in this entire story

I HATE WILLIAM! what a fuckin creep he is, poor Aliena and Richard have had terrible luck lately! Philip is getting into politicking and got the better of Bishop Waldrean but who knows if that will work out for him

Part 1 finished!
All the pov characters with the exception of Fathers Phillip coming together over the course of the chapter on the Hamleigh’s revenge had me hooked! So intrigued to see what exactly is going on with Ellen, why do all the monks seem so afraid of her? Is she a witch? I’m scared for Aliena, William seems to have evil on his mind. Glad Tom got him some work finally! I hate Alfred he’s William Jr.

William is a devious little freak wth! wasn’t expecting that

The election was enthralling!! I’m really enjoying the arch-bishop (now bishop) and am excited to see what happens next

Phillip had a plot against the new king exposed to him by his brother Francis, it is his monastic duty to tell someone and stop it. I think i’m hooked now I really wanna see what comes of this and if Phillip will fave consequences. Also Tom Builder has made it to the Kingsbridge priory looking for work and the archdeacon seems to recognize his new wife! hmmmmm
