Clearly the authors have NEVER met an actual Marine. The way they describe Harry, again... UNLESS THEY MEANT TO INTENTIONALLY MAKE US HATE HIM, is disingenuous to every Marine I have personally met and worked closely beside.

I love the premise of the story and the bones of the plot, but the authors are either intentionally lazy of morbidly incompetent.

Spoilers: The authors WANT you to hate Harry, the husband. His character is either so poorly written or it is intentional to make him unbearable, I like to think it is the latter.

The story itself is fascinating, but the writing style is lackluster. Personally, I could do without all the swearing, f-bombs, BS, etc. You can tell the authors did not do great research based on how they describe the firearms.
