It's getting weird again

This is weirdly accessible for being written by Vonnegut. And I have laughed several times already while reading. Good stuff so far.

Every winter I decide I need to try another Tolkien book and every winter I end up powering through another Tolkien book.

I am now halfway through the book and Bret Hart has 4 kids, hates his wife (who he cheats on), but he's about to get a big push towards the WWE championship so yay?!

Made it through the first novella of the story and this is gonna be a rough one content wise. But King's storytelling is unparalleled and I'm already invested in all of these characters. I've also never seen the movie so I'm going in completely blind (aside from the "I'm tired boss" GIF I regularly send at work).

What is this about?!

I know we are supposed to not really know what is going on at the beginning but I have no idea what is going on at the beginning.

While it isn't dishing a lot of behind the scenes horribleness like that Nickelodeon documentary, there is still enough DRAMA to satiate the messy bitch that I am.

It's very interesting to listen to this immediately after Hulk Hogan's passing. While there isn't a lot of new information, I am still enjoying getting the difference perspectives on the NWO.

Is this another BookTok recommendation that is ultimately not really about anything? Another "MOST DISTURBING BOOK YOU'LL EVER READ" book that so far is just OK?

What if, and hear me out, we all just become vegetarian instead?
