I started reading this two weeks ago because we had to choose a book to read in class.
I actually started this like a year ago or something and never finished it because my teacher lent it to me and when the year was over I hadn't finished it so I had to give it back because she wasn't going to be my teacher in the following year.

now I'm finally reading it again. I hope I'll still like it but tbh I'm not so sure

first of all, it's still so boring but at least I know what I'm reading.

the story is just so stupid in my opinion. like some parts of these are true or based on what happened but not everything is and my question is: vasco da gama was dumb or something? he believed in everything and fell for every trap? and why are the portuguese written like they are innocent and completely stupid or unaware of anything?

going to start reading this because I have to study "Os Lusíadas" for my portuguese exam.
this isn't the original story, this is an adaption because the original is poetry and it's so hard to understand anything that it's written there since it's from 1572. I really have no clue of what I'm reading when I read the original
this is much better to study and that way I can understand the story

went to the vet with my mom and I was reading this while we were waiting and an intern told me she already read this and she loved it!! she was so nice :)
