I’m starting to get really sad and anxious reading this. I don’t fear death, but I can’t stop thinking about me or my partner dying, and one of us having to deal with the other person’s death, getting used to being alone and not having them there anymore. It’s terrifying.

Anyway, great book.

There’s this passage that I really wanted to put here, but it’s too big and unfortunately, I can’t. I’ll add it in the comments.

I love Mariana Enriquez. This girl was 25 in Italy, banging some random guy who played the violin and who, according to her, looked and felt like a vampire, in a cemetery where the photo for the cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division was taken. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ She’s so fucking real for that.

Honestly, it’s just incredible how this series keeps bringing philosophical material to the table without ever sounding absurd or out of nowhere…. Goddamn.

It’s been 8 months since I finished Volume II of this incredible series, and it’s still so, so fresh in my head, and that says A LOT about it!

58 pages in and I’m already screaming “PEAK”!!! This is phenomenal as fuck!

The Margarita part is definitely easier for me to understand, which is helping a little. Still, I’m not entirely sure I’m enjoying the book yet. I’m glad I have the summaries and analysis to help me make sense of it because reading it can feel pretty overwhelming sometimes. Let’s see where it goes… i’m still not sure if I’m enjoying this

Unfortunately, I have a hard time connecting with the classics, don’t ask me why… maybe because I’m a bit slow and I have to put some thought on them… and I’m known for being lazy. But sure, let’s see where this one takes us!
