Honestly living it. The perspective switches are very interesting. And i think the movie does a fairly good job adapting it at least so far.

Malibu: she’s really good at world building through seemingly meaningless details. like just setting up the vibe of a room and character by letting us know she has a kitchen tv and hands him a Disneyland glass for a first date. less is more i suppose.
