and then an elder said “what’s next, kit warriors?” and i thought that was ironic considering brokentail becomes leader and then makes kits warriors 😭😭

i think all the new cats i’ve never heard of and reading about a cat from shadow clan is slowing me down but i’ve always really liked yellowfang (even though i’ve gotten 4 of her in the blind boxes 😒) so i’ll power through

i already knew she would have kits at some time in the series but this book has had tons of hints about it
the three stars twinkling brighter and brighter each time she sees them are probably her three kits growing inside her
page 285 brambleclaw mentions that all the cats have grown plump but specifically mentioned slender leafpool too so yeah she’s def pregnant teehee

leafpool just found out that mothwing might not be destined to be the riverclan cat bc hawk frost put the moth wing at the medicine den
idk why but i think i already had an inkling of that

my guess for who the cat is from the prologue in starclan is probably… cinderpelt… orrr hmmm maybe mistyfoot? to guide hawk frost into deputy spot. would explain why bluestar was sad!

i think her and crow feather are going to have kits together because all these subtle hints. crow feather looked at her with hostility but with a hint of something else, leafpaw said. he’s probably angry at himself liking her after feathertail and leafpaw is sad she won’t have a mate bc she’s a medicine cat. i ship!! 😋

this book is pretty good and i’m pretty excited for the clans to choose their territories. personally i like when all the clans are separate bc remembering ALL THE CATS NAMES AND FACES IS SO HARD WHEN THERES OVER 80 in one place

also i really like the cover of this i got from target. the edges are sprayed with fancy colorful flowers and the cover is so freaking cute like i think i only bought it bc it was so pretty at first

reading a lil palate cleanser romance bc i don’t want to get burnt out on warrior cats.
trust me i want to read the second book of warriors so bad but after i rated the first a 4 stars (i usually rate them 5 stars) i realized i might be reading it too fast and like not fully enjoying it
so ill just read this lil age gap romance then hop right back into the warrior cats world
(maybe beth can catch up lol)

supposedly fire and tiger will meet and then the forest is doomed
firestar and cinderpelt think that means brambleclaw and squirrel paw shouldn’t be near eachother
also btw i think bramble and squirrel will become mates bc it’s giving sandstorm and firestar all over again

i’m actually kinda loving this book
like i struggled a tad from the time jump and all the new cats and the switching perspectives but im sure ill get used to it fast and most of the new cats are probably side characters 🥹
brambleclaw and tawnypelt had a prophecy dream and 2 other cats had one too they just need to find out who. i like leaf paw a lot and im excited to read more of this new story
