This book is exactly what I expect when reading a dark academia, the anxiety I feel when Kidan has her private test that’s what I want! Bringing me into the classroom and truly feeling the characters emotions in that moment.

Well damn, the start of this book has been a bit slow but wow I was not expecting that. And just wow I can’t even fathom what Sciona is feeling. This book is a great representation how nations use religion to control the narrative and influence their people into believing what is right and wrong.

I’m trying to get through this book i have 15% left but im so annoyed and bored. It’s soooooo much filler, i love their writing but this series started strong and now is falling flat for me. They needed to end it at book 3. Someone please tell me it’s worth it to finish the series because im struggling
