While they’ve already identified the beetle solution to get back to blip a, I don’t think I understand how Grace will then be able to use the beetles later to send messages back to earth…is it less relevant because he said he’d already send one back before using the other two??? Or is he going to replace the independent fuel with astrophage since the fuel was different and fully contained.

It’s so entertaining-I love the early mystery and comedy infused throughout—the Eridian Rocky is great and I love the language bridging except I struggle to believe they’d find out words like “understand “ so quickly, since it’s so abstract, but I love the breakdown of science and the methodical yet accessible explanations—this book is fascinating and entertaining.

He identities the speed of the Astrophage is moving fast, does some math to determine how fast it’s going and how long it would circle the sun, but then comes to the conclusion that he’s in a different solar system, I don’t think I fully understand how he realized this since he’s not measuring the size of the sun. He’s measuring the speed of how the little dots are moving.

Audiobook is very practical and shockingly easy to absorb.
