Boring. This Salvo dude is so naive. I know Congo isn’t a happy place. Widescale corruption, endless wars and atrocities, deep rooted tribal structures and everything that follows. This book tries to drive its point right through your nose, but it is such a drag. And the main character being such a tool isn’t helping either.
