Wow, there’s a lot here that I can relate to, like growing up in a very strict Christian community including many people thinking they can’t believe in science if they believe in God. Ya Gyasi is a brilliant thinker, she was asking extraordinary questions from a very young age.

Still not sure how I feel about this book, particularly the style of writing. I’m trying to have an open mind though.
