I’m shocked that in 1915 that the investigations were so structured and they were worried about “hostile witnesses” and “hearsay”.

Why is Mors telling all of this information to the police? Is he trying to get arrested?

Just the introduction talking about the different poisons and how the poisoners will change the poison they use once scientists could figure out how to ID them.

Yes yes yessss! Brambleby has to be my favorite male character from any book series. It’s adorable that he compulsively sews and mends clothes.

Wow…just wow. This book has picked up so quickly! I believe Piranesi was a researcher/PhD student that was studying the House. Obviously there was some amnesia that has affected Piranesi, and this “16” is a loved one that is coming to remind Piranesi who they really are. The Other does not want this to happen because he is using Piranesi to get data so the effects of the House don’t affect him.

It was a little difficult getting into this book. Our narrator is so endearing and enthusiastic about science! I really like them.
