Estoy aprendiendo a ver. No sé a qué se debe, pero todo penetra en mí más hondamente y no se queda en el lugar en el que siempre solía terminar. Tengo un interior del que no sabía. Ahora todo va hacia ahí. No sé qué es lo que ahí sucede.

En vista del vacío interior, el sujeto del selfie trata en vano de producirse a sí mismo. El selfie es el sí mismo en formas vacías. Estas reproducen el vacío. Lo que genera la adicción al selfie no es un autoenamoramiento o una vanidad narcisistas, sino un vacío interior. Aquí no hay ningún yo estable y narcisista que se ame a sí mismo. Más bien nos hallamos ante un narcisismo negativo.

Gaspar estaba mareado, pero un mareo que le resultaba placentero porque la gente, el viento, la música, las estrellas y los granitos de tierra lo sujetaban cada vez que se iba a caer hacia los lados, habían formado un sistema solar con sus propias fuerzas gravitacionales.

Las palabras “empezar tu vida” hicieron sentir repentinamente solo a Gaspar, pese a que creía haber eructado casi toda su pena solo unos minutos antes. El futuro se le antojó aún más largo y frío. No le apetecía empezar su vida, le apetecía posponerla.

Le gustó ver el humo salir de su boca mezclado con el vaho gélido, como globos de diálogo que no contenían ninguna idea concreta y solo querían abandonar su cuerpo para encontrar otro en el que formar una frase mejor.
