Same stuff - logistics, personnel, struggles of an ethical person to lead. It's diverting enough if I don't want to think

This book has a massive sad part in the beginning that I see coming. It's the impetus for Breqs quest but it's also kind of - it's a plot device in many movies. So I have to read that before I can truly understand the book.

Interesting premise and world but I stopped reading due to LAZY Formulaic plot turns! I feel like I know what's going to happen next/ chaos abd destruction that isn't supported by the circumstances. DM is really bad about this in other books too

I may need to buy a cheAp copy so I can have time to think about what she says. Interesting to me though this approach to looking for answers has been done, for sure

Not a lawyerly type or fond of courtroom drama. I think years of L&O used my interest up. I can tell it's probly good but not for me

Sorry but I find Julie Kagawa's talent limited in an essential way- she had good works build, pretty good characters and then she does horrible things to them for no apparent reason that I can see- because her resolution of the awful situation she creates isn't satisfying or even makes sense. So why???

Cole always starts well; challenge is to finish strong. She usually goes astray at 60% and may not get it right til book is 90% done. We'll see
