The love interests are giving Fourth Wing.
There’s a controlling male friend that is interested in being more than friends once the morally grey male love interest swoops in.
The MMC & FMC are sworn enemies due to past events that ruined both of their lives. But, during the course of the trials, they QUICKLY fall in love. I mean QUICK, I wasn’t prepared for how fast it happened, and it threw me off big time.

I’m so unwell.
This is a book that I will immediately be rereading because I just know that there are things I’ve missed.
It’s so good, so far.

I am feeling some type of way about Luka, like 🔥
I’m on Ch.10 and already way more action has happened than in the entire last book.
I’m anxious, and cannot get through it fast enough. There’s always so many questions!

I’m getting so daggum mad.
The emotions occurring inside of me are conflicting and causing me anxiety.

I’m about 60% through, and I’m ready for Tessa to crack the world in 1/2 and suck all these stupid boys into the earths core.
If Theon can’t understand why she won’t just accept this bond and continues to refuse to see things from her perspective, I hope he gets struck by lightning.
Ugh.

Do you ever just like black out during the first 75% of a romantasy book? Especially the 1st book of the series, when it’s introducing the characters & all the world building.
Like I swear I’ll get to chapter 18 & be like “okay hold on, things are getting good, maybe I need to go back & relisten/reread to make sure I didn’t miss anything.” Okay well I’m at that point in this book now.

I'm just really struggling because I want her and Chaol to be together, and idk if my heart can take them hating each other. He literally broke me, and so, that's where I'm at.

1/2 way through, and if I hadn't spent money on this, I would not be finishing.
