Dude, this book is tearing me up. So many good lines in this. It's passed so quickly and part of me doesn't want it to end

I hate to say it, but it was entertaining. And the epilogue, unfortunately, is something I've thought about for a minute. Oops

So excited to start this book after wanting it for so long. I missed Darrow and the others. Things seem pretty dire, but I’ve got a good feeling they’ll turn around. Pierce Brown, pleaseee don’t let anything bad happy to my goblin

Just realized my copy has 214 pages instead of the 277 advertised on GoodReads. Nearly 3/4 of the way through this and I’m not really seeing the hype behind this book

She had a traumatic day at work, so he shows up to her house still masked and tries to comfort her. She says “I wanna turn my brain off” and asks for it in a freakier way than the first time??? 🤯🤯

Handcuffs and blindfolds are nothing crazy, but making her ride a knife handle while both of those??? Crazy work

So let me get this straight. This girl is feral for this guy’s thirst traps. After learning of this, he stalks her, breaks into her house, records another thirst trap on her bed, and posts it? And she’s a little scared, but more so turned on?

Oh, and she gives him road head after he breaks into her car? And buddy boy came while being stabbed with a knife? Y’all are some freaks 🫣

“Not her hands. My hands. I bring you to Heaven.” Sobbing rn. Nobody hmu

Albom does an amazing job describing a father-son relationship. A son that craves his dad’s attention; the wordless gestures that pass between the two; the heavy-handed way of raising someone to be “masculine.” Who’s cutting onions?

This kind of reminds me of Demon Copperhead, which is funny because the first page references David Copperfield, which is the original iteration of Kingsolver’s book, apparently. But yeah, you’ve got this kid who isn’t living up to his full potential. I’m interesting in seeing if his potential love interest causes him to do anything silly. He already got beat up bc of it

Me starting another audiobook from Mitch Albom's books? Yeah, what about it?? His stuff is peak. My main gripe rn is the fact the audiobook I picked up is read by some dude name Erik Singer; not my boy Mitch himself. Also, they're playing music in the background while the narration is going? It's kind of throwing me off, but I'm sure I'll get used to it

The two characters I wanted to reunite did just that 😛 There’s a lot of room to screw things up. I’m nervous to see how the other two characters will do since it’s hinted everyone will once again be in the same area here soon. I’m nervous

Poor Sebastian's obsession with Udo. I don't blame him, but it's just so disheartening seeing how much he's sacrificed for his pursuit. I really need Fanny to find Nico asap and bring homie to his senses. No more identity change. No more games

What do you mean he lied when his chance for reunion is RIGHT THERE. I’m so nervous for how the rest of this book is going to play out since one of the biggest conflicts is resolved, but now this happened

I love that Truth is the narrator in this. It reminds me a lot of how Death narrated "The Book Thief." Very interesting seeing both books are historical fiction based around Nazi Germany and the Holocaust

My local librarian recommended me this. As someone who constantly overthinks, it's interesting seeing a book about the different lives you'd be living based on the decisions you make.

Pulled an oopsies and didn't update as I was reading, but I'm enjoying this a lot. It has the high quality of a book that might be required for high school in the best way possible. Lots of high-stakes moments

I'm not a big fan of the way the dialogue lacks quotations, which makes it difficult to differentiate who says what. I'm really liking the characters, though. They feel like they could be real people
