insanely depressing, but a hole filled in my heart for Jude during “The Postman” insanely graphic with its themes however.

Beautifully written with creative detail to it’s characterisation. However, extremely heavy with its themes (would have lover a tw before reading).

honestly such a devastating illumination of the beauty of sonder in our world. Through each short story I have been hit from each part of my heart, I now have one short story left, let’s hope I don’t sob like I did for ‘husband and wife’

Just finished the first story, and I feel as though the pacing definitely worked with the way time travel works in this world. The romance, while short was genuinely so sweet and genuinely engaging, where they were able to flesh out characters with limited time, just mirrors the beauty of time that this book embodies.

just read a bit before going out, I like the set up for how someone time travels, however with only 20 pages left of this part, and the actual time travel not happening yet makes me worry it will be rushed and shallow.

the set up is so cozy and straight out with very distinct description of characters, that make it easy to visualise who the main characters are. I know I haven’t read much, but I’m tired and I have to go out tomorrow. also there is like no chapters, only 4 parts for each story.

feels very Netflix teen drama, but in a fun way. Let me just say that Maysilee and Drusila’s interactions are golden and so real housewives core. the reaping itself was insane and this book has been giving such a great insight into corrupt governments, and their internalised secrecy of corruption. it’s just like the structure..like yes we have seen this so many times, but I appreciate what they do differently

The reaping was so good, such great suspense interwoven with great nods to societal issues. Such as the shielding the horrific realities of classism.
