Yes I have taken an obscenely long time to read this (mostly because of being busy/not taking time to read) but trust this book is excellent

Been fixated on DEH for the past little while so this was the inevitable next step. So far, it feels like a good balance of verbatim scenes/dialogue from the musical with more fleshing out. The writing is quite simplistic, but I don’t mind. It makes it easy to fly through. So far so good!

I started reading this because someone got it for me in a Secret Santa gift exchange, and I wasn’t sure if I would find it engaging, but wow is it ever. Two days into reading and I’ve adopted daily meditation, and Light’s approach to meditation is working really well for me.

Uhh idk when I started reading this bc I forgot to update but I think it was sometime early November. Very 2010s YA dystopia core, the prose is kind of bland but with unexpectedly strong social commentary.

The tension is INSANE. It’s been a while since I’ve picked up a happy romance and this has been a great one to get me back into it!
