Dreadfully interesting

I find the language too complex for my feeble and inferior mind to comprehend. Although it is humorous and I can notice themes and societal issues that are quite fascinating. Sometimes I sit there my mind and body abuzz and I must force myself to pay attention. This is mostly likely due to this book having to do with school and my endless deterioration of my attention span. I’m on new pills though so yay

As I read this the writing style cringes me, I prefer a much more eloquent style of writing. I do not like the use of slang and the oversimplfied way of explaining. I find Matteo to be annoying. But perhaps this is because I do not relate to him. But the book is simple enough for me to read a lot, suitable for a reading slump.

Is it weird I don’t feel anything? I’m hearing about constant bombardments and death. I am intrigued but only slightly. I do not even feel sad. Maybe I just need to listen to music and read.
