This was NOT how I saw Lizzy's storyline going but I'm strangely amused(?)

Sooo you're telling me, a dying man teaches her on his deathbed how to shoot a gun (kinda) and the next day, she shoots a polar bear with 1-2 shots successfully. Yes... I was going to complain that this book was too close to the true story, but this lololol

The Beardsley twins and their dedication to Lizzy is so comically strange, wholesome and awesome. DG makes it so easy to fall in love with her characters
