Am I in a reading slump? Feels that way

Apparently I have to read 7,000 books before the new ACOTAR.

Omg soooooo much telling and minimal dialogue or showing. I’m getting so irritated

I’m just so tired of these types of heroines. Why does strong equate to behaving how a man does. It’s off-putting and tired. Nevertheless, we persist. Tally-ho!

Can I DNF at 88%? Is that a thing?

I’m liking this so far. Lots of complex info being dumped but I’m intrigued and motivated to continue.

Not bad. Didn’t think I’d be interested in the Roman backdrop but I’m finding it kind of cool. I am having trouble paying attention to this book though. It’s not like roping me in.

I’m not a fan of the insta obsessed. Jumping right in to that is a little bit boring, and cringey. Eye roll.

Some inconsistencies

Was hanging on by a thread to get this far but it’s snipped. DNF.

I’m about it to DNF this book. This dude is obsessed with this woman, and is as crazy as she is.

Atmospheric! I'm noticing some strange things like typos. I'm not sure if it's on purpose as part of the story, though. It feels like maybe in this world, things are spelled differently, if that makes sense.
