Those without a background in adjacent topics - brace yourselves! This book is quite dense. So far so good.

First essay somewhat dry. Second essay incredibly poorly written and characterised by slightly substandard scholarship. Third essay very good and interesting, overall reasonable argumentation. Fourth essay, again, slightly dry but overall good. Fifth essay - excellent, exactly what I wanted from this kind of book.
