Enjoying a lot so far! Still getting used to the writing style and flow of the book but I am definitely intrigued! I love that this book has been seen as impressionist and post impressionist - so awesome to compare literature and fine arts

Just finished The Lifted Veil - not an awful read but not particularly thrilling. Some beautiful writing from Eliot about love and poetry but the plot didn’t exactly excite me and the ending was fine but it all just felt a little cliché
