alsoooooo guess who got into book binding! I now will be trying to refurbish my books and make my own journals. A friend of mine let me rebind his book and I made it a fabric cover and everything it was awesome 😎

Finished “The Parable of the Sower” a while ago and it’s been on my mind ever since. Such a jarring book that depicts the wickedness of what humans can accomplish if they stray too far from the bigger picture. I hear that this book could be getting banned soon, so that’s how you know it’s a good one ;). AND it included a documented interview with the author Octavia E. Butler!! I love that!!

had the pleasure of reading “Peace is Every Step” and WOWEE!! So so very nice to see confirmations about my daily life written down in a sweet little book, whilst also teaching me a few tweaks. That book really was a breath of fresh air. “Walk as if you are kissing the ground with your feet.” (Thích Nhât Hanh). Thank you Andy :,)

I read “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe and it was accompanied by many other pieces of his work and what a “fun” read. I always love seeing the words “hither and thither”. Morbid theme but sometimes clashes with his excerpts about love that i enjoyed. I was reading this collection out loud outside at night one day and thought my chair was finna start levitating in the air.

Just finished “Ishmael” and the ending ripped my heart out. A friend of mine mentioned that she wished that certain subjects would be talked more about and now I too yearn for a teacher to guide and go in-depth with me. I am so glad a book like this exists for others to read! One of my favorites for sure and absolutely will be recommending for others to read.

Sound of a wild snail eating was delightful! What a great insight on perspective and acceptance! The author delivered a plethora of facts about snails and her life which inspired a stream of wisdom that I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn’t know snails were born with their shells! The parallels and lessons in this book will stay with me for a lifetime :)

bro i was so excited to read perfume and that book was awful dawg. I was gonna give it 2 stars.. then 3.. then I decided on 1. I liked the parallels in the book and the obscurity of this character’s motive, but I thought this book was so boring. The ending was absolutely horrible. I didn’t enjoy how the book was written and how it was resolved. This book angered me. But I respect it!
