Sooo many highlights already. It is clear this is a very sobering, heavy book about the realities of civil war but one that is brilliantly written. Already the plot line is starting to weave its web.

Sam is toxic. I disliked reading about their relationship. Yash is a winner for me. So glad they’re finally giving things a go but the secrecy when Sam is around is pissing me off and he’s starting to show some red flag behaviour… long distance isn’t easy but hmmm I smell something suspicious …

BIG reading day. You know I’m hooked on a book when I’m squeezing in a few pages in the 5mins between patients and listening to the audiobook in the car.

So much is happening in this book I get so swept up in it when I start reading and end up spending hours with my head buried in my kindle. The slog of reading thousands of pages in this entire universe is feeling SO worth it

Gosh this book has me in a chokehold. I’m really enjoying it, I’m just struggling to find time to read atm with all my bday celebrations

Tv show got released on prime today so I’m reading it before I watch it! Loving it so far. But it is very similar to the book I just finished (problematic summer romance)

The characters in this are great! Eli is a gem and such a great big brother 🥰

I’m actually really enjoying this so far. It feels very wattpad vibes and I just needed a couple of easy read books that weren’t too long or complicated. Will get back to the Maasverse soon.

Trying to finish this before the end of the month! So hard when trying to juggle reading and a full time job 🫠
