veryyyy nervous to start reading this. spanish reading is not my forte and i'm worried i'll get a little bored but i've devoured my only two books i brought here and I don't have any others left besides this one, which i borrowed from a library nearly a year ago so i should probably return it

brilliantly written. mixes the side of me that loves science with the side of me that loves history and psychology. this guy is legit.

Very good insights I think it’s true the LSAT probably isn’t a beast to be afraid of but one that is meant to be tamed.

pretty good. Sometimes hard to read due to the erratic nature of the prose. Had this weird feeling last night where I didn't feel like the book was really ramping up but I also couldn't put it down. Book Addiction they call it.

Sally Rooney is brilliant. Wow.

my page hasn't changed but apparently her sections of one of the brothers is written in a Joycean style. Just important to note. you get used to it quite quickly

Second night in a row where I don’t care what my obligations are, I can’t put this book down. It’s going to be a long week if this book is this good throughout. Sally Rooney is so good at describing how people think. She writes in such a brilliant way.

Can’t put this book down. Like if McCarthy and Hemingway had a baby. So good. So enticing. I put off reading it for so long because I got scared it was glib or too modern. No this book is just pure fun. Would read for another hour if I didn’t have lab at 8 AM.

Is it bad to say that I don’t care about Icelands conversion to Christianity? Regardless this book is absolutely a thrill.

This book is so good wow I am really enjoying it it feels like a total adventure. The only problem is the names and keeping track of the families but it’s like Game of Thrones with all the action and revenge plots. Would recommend

I haven't been making as much time for reading as I should. But this book has been super fun thus far, and now that the plot lines are really tying together it's getting super interesting.

Im actually reading the pevear volokhonsky translation. Its pretty fun all around!

I was slow to pick up this book, because the beginning is so dang confusing. But once this story gets going it’s been hard to put down.

Good stuff. Quite interesting short stories. Definitely leaving me with a lot of questions
