I can’t really give an adequate review because I’m at a loss for words. Emotional. I know it’s fictional but the author made me feel every emotion possible with this book. I know I can’t say she captured it perfectly, because as she wrote in the book… one can’t begin to understand or know what vets went through… *sigh.*… it’s a beautiful book. Read it and then enjoy life and be humble and grateful.
